- 1 loaf sourdough or French bread
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Use a serrated knife to cut a 1-inch grid pattern into the loaf, cutting 1 inch deep but not through the bottom crust.
- Combine melted butter, minced garlic, and parsley in a small bowl.
- Brush the garlic butter generously into every slit of the bread.
- Stuff the mozzarella, cheddar, and half of the parmesan into the slits, pressing down firmly.
- Sprinkle the remaining parmesan over the top of the loaf.
- Wrap the loaf loosely in aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for another 5-10 minutes until the top is golden brown and bubbling.
