Description

A buttery, garlic-infused pull-apart loaf featuring a melted blend of mozzarella, cheddar, and parmesan cheeses. Perfect as a holiday appetizer or a comforting side dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf sourdough or French bread
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Use a serrated knife to cut a 1-inch grid pattern into the loaf, cutting 1 inch deep but not through the bottom crust.
  3. Combine melted butter, minced garlic, and parsley in a small bowl.
  4. Brush the garlic butter generously into every slit of the bread.
  5. Stuff the mozzarella, cheddar, and half of the parmesan into the slits, pressing down firmly.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining parmesan over the top of the loaf.
  7. Wrap the loaf loosely in aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake for another 5-10 minutes until the top is golden brown and bubbling.
