Description

A decadent, no-bake twist on the classic German chocolate cake. Features a rich chocolate mousse filling and a signature coconut-pecan topping on a graham cracker crust.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 6 oz dark chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup shredded sweetened coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter; press into a pie dish and chill.
  2. Beat softened cream cheese until smooth, then fold in cooled melted dark chocolate.
  3. Whip heavy cream to stiff peaks and gently fold into the chocolate mixture.
  4. Pour filling into the crust and freeze for 30 minutes.
  5. In a saucepan, simmer brown sugar, butter, and coconut until bubbly; stir in pecans.
  6. Spread the coconut mixture over the chilled filling.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before slicing.
