Description
Handmade soy wax candles with a weathered, dripping effect to create a haunted atmosphere for Halloween decorations.
Ingredients

- 2 cups soy wax flakes
- 4 cotton candle wicks
- 2 tablespoons candle dye (purple or black)
- 1 tablespoon fragrance oil (pumpkin or cinnamon)
- 4 pillar candles (base)
- 4 glass jars (for melting)
Instructions
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper and place the pillar candles on top.
- Melt soy wax in a double boiler over medium-low heat until completely liquid.
- Stir in the candle dye and fragrance oil, mixing for two minutes until uniform.
- Carefully pour the colored wax over the top of the pillar candles, letting it overflow down the sides.
- Use a spoon to drizzle additional wax in irregular streaks and bulbs down the sides of the candles.
- Allow the candles to cool undisturbed for at least 4 hours until the wax is hard.
- Trim the wicks to 1/4 inch using scissors.
