- 1¾ cups buttermilk (420ml)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour in the buttermilk; stir gently until combined.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead lightly for about 30 seconds.
- Shape the dough into a round loaf about 1½ inches thick and place it on the baking sheet.
- Cut a deep X on top of the dough to help it bake evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
