Ingredients

  • 4 cedar planks (soaked for 2 hours)
  • 2 lbs salmon fillet
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak cedar planks in water for at least 2 hours.
  2. Whisk maple syrup, Dijon, garlic powder, and smoked paprika in a bowl.
  3. Pat salmon dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  4. Brush the maple glaze generously over the salmon.
  5. Place salmon on the soaked planks.
  6. Grill over medium-high heat with the lid closed for 12-15 minutes.
  7. Remove when internal temperature reaches 135°F and let rest.
