Ingredients

  • 1 cup pastina (stelline or acini di pepe)
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a medium pot over medium heat until bubbling.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in pastina and toast for 2-3 minutes until lightly golden.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
