Description
A hearty, one-pot soup that combines the flavors of traditional stuffed cabbage rolls. Savory ground beef, tender cabbage, and rice simmered in a rich tomato broth.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 6 cups beef broth
- 1 small head of green cabbage, chopped
- 1 cup uncooked long-grain white rice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium-high heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pot and sauté for 5 minutes until translucent.
- Stir in the tomato paste and cook for 1 minute to deepen the flavor.
- Add the diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth. Stir well and bring to a boil.
- Add the chopped cabbage to the pot and reduce heat to low.
- Cover and simmer for 20-30 minutes until the cabbage is tender.
- Stir in the uncooked white rice and simmer for an additional 15-20 minutes until the rice is cooked through.
