- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 3 cups beef broth
- 2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium-high heat until cooked through.
- Add onion and garlic, sautéing until translucent.
- Stir in chili powder and cumin, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in tomato sauce and beef broth, stirring to combine.
- Stir in macaroni and simmer on low heat for 10-12 minutes until pasta is tender.
- Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
