- ⅓ cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- Pinch sea salt
- 1 egg, whole
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4–5 fresh peaches, sliced
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- Powdered sugar for dusting
- Optional apricot glaze or clear gravy
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine flour, sugar and salt.
- Add cold butter and mix until crumbly.
- Stir in egg and vanilla until dough is cohesive.
- Press dough into tart pan, chill 30 minutes.
- Arrange peach slices, drizzle lemon zest, bake 25‑30 minutes.
- Cool, dust with powdered sugar, serve.
