- 24 slices of hard salami
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 12 green olives, sliced into rounds
- 12 black olives, sliced into small pieces
- 24 toothpicks or small skewers
Instructions
- Lay the salami slices on a clean work surface and trim them to uniform circles if necessary.
- Fold or roll each salami slice slightly to create a small hollow center.
- Spoon a dollop of softened cream cheese into the center of each salami slice, smoothing the top.
- Press one slice of green olive into the center of the cream cheese to create the iris.
- Press a small piece of black olive into the center of the green olive to create the pupil.
- Insert a toothpick through the center of the assembly to secure the eyeball.
- Arrange on a platter and refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
