- 1 lb ground breakfast sausage
- 8 large eggs
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 20 oz frozen cubed hash browns
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Brown the ground sausage in a skillet over medium heat until cooked through. Drain the grease and set aside.
- Grease the inside of a slow cooker with butter or non-stick spray.
- Spread the frozen hash browns evenly across the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Layer the cooked sausage over the potatoes.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Pour the egg mixture over the sausage and potatoes.
- Top the mixture with shredded cheddar cheese and sliced green onions.
- Cover and cook on Low for 7-8 hours or High for 3-4 hours until the center is set.
