Description

A succulent, garlic-infused pork tenderloin cooked slowly to perfection. This recipe combines a golden sear with a gentle braise for gourmet results with minimal effort.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork tenderloin
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork tenderloin dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the meat on all sides until golden brown.
  3. Place minced garlic and chopped herbs at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  4. Place the seared pork on top of the herbs.
  5. Pour chicken broth around the sides of the meat and place butter pats on top.
  6. Cover and cook on Low for 4 to 6 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  7. Remove from the slow cooker and let the meat rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
