Description

A tender, slow-cooked corned beef brisket paired with savory cabbage, carrots, and potatoes. This one-pot meal is the ultimate comfort food with minimal effort.


Ingredients

  • 34 lb Corned Beef Brisket
  • 1 head Green Cabbage, cut into wedges
  • 4 large Carrots, chopped
  • 1 lb Potatoes, cut into chunks
  • 1 Onion, sliced
  • 2 cups Beef Broth
  • 1 packet Pickling Spices

Instructions

  1. Rinse the corned beef brisket under cold water to remove excess surface salt.
  2. Place sliced onions and chopped carrots at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Lay the brisket on top of the vegetables, fat side up.
  4. Pour in beef broth and sprinkle pickling spices around the meat.
  5. Cover and cook on Low for 8-10 hours until the beef is tender.
  6. Add cabbage wedges and potato chunks around the beef during the last 2-3 hours of cooking.
  7. Remove the beef and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing against the grain.
