Description

A deeply flavorful, smoky, and tender pulled pork that cooks effortlessly in a slow cooker. Perfect for sandwiches, tacos, or as a main protein for a crowd.


Ingredients

  • 4 lb Pork Shoulder (Boston Butt)
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Rub the spice mixture evenly over all sides of the pork shoulder.
  3. Place the seasoned pork into the slow cooker.
  4. Pour the apple cider vinegar and Worcestershire sauce around the meat.
  5. Cover and cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours until the meat is tender.
  6. Remove meat to a platter and shred using two forks.
  7. Return shredded meat to the pot and stir in the remaining juices.
